Phone Tracker for iPhones App Reviews

The free version nagged me too much, but seemed promising. So I bought the paid version. It is better, but still nags me to write a review. It works, could be better, is a nag. Suited to techies who understand the complexities of the technologies involved. All the competing tracker apps each have their own strengths and weaknesses. This one lets you monitor multiple mobile gadgets from each gadget, and saves 3 days of data. I am using WiFi only, with gen4 and gen5 iPods, and newer iPad. There sure are a lot of WiFi nodes in my city, which makes this app usable for me. I would like to see more options for battery conservation, e.g. more interval options and maybe no reporting if no accelerometer activity. I wonder if the accelerometers would ever be good enough for dead-reckoning inertial navigation. My main interest is low-budget tracking of demented but mobile seniors. I want them to enjoy pleasant outdoor walks, but be able to find them if they get lost. If the battery lasts long enough, an iPod Touch might work for some individuals, but not all.

It should have a delete button, so that I can remove any individual whom I dont want to know my location.

tracks my location but no one elses even when set up the way it advertises which is not helpful... would like a refund!

This app, despite using my iPhones gps capabilities, is not very accurate. Sometimes off by a kilometre or more. The pin history is incomplete and doesnt display in addresses and doesnt display all pins. This app could be very good with more work. But isnt worth the current app price.

not 100% tracking the exact location of the subject especially if the subject is in the weak signal area.. and it caused my battery easily drained.

This was a terrible experience. I spent hours trying to link four phones together. After many attempts. I have given up. Not a friendly app to use. Wouldnt recommend it!

Deserves zero stars. I bought this app expecting greatness and it worked almost perfectly the first day (the GPS kept turning even though I was just in my apartment all day). The next day I open the app to turn the GPS back on and it wont load. Loads for a few seconds then freezes. I restarted my phone a few times to try to fix it but nada. I deleted the app and downloaded again. I cant get back into my account now and when I try making a new account it freezes the second I press the submit button.

This is useful. Only thing is you should have the option to use this for tracking kids without them knowing! Kind of like a safety concept, so parents are aware of where they are!

I like how it drops pins where you been. I drive a yard truck and it shows all my moves. Its accurate and its simple to use.

Horrible purchased so I would know where are phones are at all times never shows husbands even showed him at his doctor appointment and hour after he and left drove by our home on way to work. Then said mine was miles away from where we live when I had not left house all day.

I dont understand why it always stays frozen you can come out of it and go back in and its never accurate

The only way you can track someone is if you are constantly asking them to refresh their app.

My friend down loaded the app just so I could have the location and it charged her 3.99. Thats a bunch of bs. She didnt need to be charged as she only did it for me and didnt upgrade n still charged her account. U had to constantly ask that person to update their phone even though it was never rebooted or dead battery like it says could be wrong. That is ridiculous when the person is at work during the day. if it runs in the back ground it should not have to be refreshed.

I just updated at my house and went to the next location where it didnt trace the way I got there but just show point A where I was and point B where I arrived. App needs to be fixed to work properly as the first day I uploaded it. Seems the gps is slacking. Find friends on Apple tracks better. Waste of 4 bucks.

Paid for upgrade and it was no different from the free one - both dont work.

It simply doesnt work. And the few times it does, it is incredibly unreliable. The cost for this one is deceptive as they get you to believe the more you have to pay, the better it must be. Quite the opposite in this case. Dont let them fool you and dont flush your money down this app . . . I mean, toilet.

You only can track 1 person for free and I dont wan any Demo in mi friend so if u have 2 child u only can track one for the 2 u have to pay $3.99???? But u have a Joe Demo friend because the app wan ?
